With our guidance and help, Hungarian athlete Zoltán Szilágyi crossed the Atacama Desert. He ran from the ocean coast (Bahia Inglesa) to the high mountain margin of the desert environment, up to 6200 m a.s.l., to the slope of the Ojos del Salado. The almost 400 km of running took place between +35 °C and –10 °C.
