• instrument change as required
• instrument installation at new altitudes (4550 m, 6000 m asl)
• study of the postvolcanic phenomena of the Ojos del Salado at 6500 m asl
• installation of aeolian sediment traps at 5200 and 6000 m asl
• start of microbiological sampling (from 3800 m asl)
• analysis of ground-ice distribution, snow and ice density analyses
• investigation of the location, formation and water sources of high mountain lakes above 5800 m asl
