Successfull data downloading during the pandemic

We had to get to the Ojos del Salado again this year. Downloading the instruments and replacing many of them could not wait. We didn't want to risk breaking the 10-years long continuous monitoring. The work was carried out on a completely empty mountain with closed borders, at the Chilean height of the pandemic. Our car couldn't really cope with the altitude, but in the end, we succeeded: we collected all the data – from the level of the Puna Plateau to the summit of the Ojos de Salado
